January, 2013 - NewRock Ranks on Alberta Ventures FASTEST GROWING BUSINESSES!

NewRock Developments Ranks One of Alberta’s Fastest Growing Companies NewRock Developments has made Alberta Venture Magazine’s Fast 50 List, and has been showcased as one of Alberta’s Growth Champions for 2012.

For the past 13 years, the Fast Growth 50 program has been the most prominent ranking of Alberta businesses with significant growth in revenue, assets, capital expenditures and employees over a three-year period. Produced by Alberta Venture magazine with the assistance of KPMG, this program is one of the most recognized business rankings in the province. The intent of which is to recognize growth-oriented businesses based in Alberta.

NewRock Developments reached the number 30 spot in this year’s Fast Growth 50 list. NewRock Developments also has the additional honour of being one of only eight companies located outside of Calgary and Edmonton, and the only one from Southeastern Alberta to make the list. With the company approaching its three-year anniversary, NewRock went from virtually no sales in fiscal 2011 to over $21,000,000 in 2012. This tremendous growth was accomplished by offering individuals a means of affording their own home with costs that are comparable to renting. NewRock Developments is based out of Medicine Hat Alberta but has Communities and offices across British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.

In a recent interview, NewRock Developments’ CEO Cam Ens, was asked the questions: “What’s the catch?” and “Why would you do this?” Ens’ reply was simply, “Why wouldn’t we want to do it? When we see how grateful people are to have their own homes, it is a win-win. It can change people’s lives.”
